Astaxin® Original
Astaxin® Original is a powerful antioxidant formulation with AstaReal® natural Haematococcus pluvialis meal high in astaxanthin as the main active ingredient, and a boost of vitamins C and E. The two vitamins protect the body’s cells against oxidative stress. Vitamin C also contributes to the normal function of the immune system and reduces fatigue and exhaustion. Astaxin® Original has been on the market since 1995.
Each capsule contains:
- 4 mg Astaxanthin
- 10 mg vitamin E
- 60 mg vitamin C
Sunflower oil (Helianthus annuus), porcine gelatin (capsule shell), green algae meal (Haematococcus pluvialis) (AstaReal®), humectant (glycerol), vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid), vitamin E (d-α-tocopherol), thickener (mono -and diglycerides of fatty acids), anti-caking agent (silicon dioxide), emulsifier (lecithins from sunflower), colour (iron oxides).
1-2 capsules, taken with a meal.
Astaxanthin is fat soluble and should be taken with meals for best absorption. Astaxanthin is absorbed, together with fat-soluble vitamins, and it is therefore also necessary that the meal contains fat.
Recommended daily intake should not be exceeded. Dietary supplements should not be used as an alternative to a varied diet. Store at room temperature out of the reach of small children.
